– then and now

Students of Latin and Classical Studies spent Easter in Greece to  lend colour and depth to their study of the classical world.  Ancient sites in Athens, Corinth, Delphi and Tolon were juxtaposed with the experience of modern Greece with its hustle and bustle and political unrest.  Classics is a thriving subject at Woodford and trips such as this one set up interests and enthusiasm which, for many, will last a life time.
