(Product Design and Electronics Focus)

LBR4 (Pt 18 – 21)  Salary range: £16,907 - £18,662 (pay award pending)

36 hours per week: Term-time only

We are looking to appoint a Creative Technologies Technician from September 2018.  Our Creative Technologies Department brings together Product Design, Electronics and Computing to support co-ordinated and forward-looking delivery in these areas and to promote girls’ engagement in STEM.  In addition to our Art and Technology Block, refurbishment work (Spring 2018) has provided us with an innovation lab and additional computing facilities.  The person appointed will provide technical support to teaching staff and practical assistance in lessons

While no particular formal qualifications are specified we are looking for someone with a technical/design background who is confident in Computing/ICT.  Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage.

The post will operate in term-time only, starting in September 2018.  Working hours:  8am – 4pm daily.  An induction period in July could be organised for a candidate available then.
