Conference on Suffering
Pictures  2005  2004  2003  2002  2000  1999	Every year, in the Autumn Term, the whole of the Upper Sixth meets for a conference in the Gloucester Room at Ilford Library. Joining us are a range of Visitors from differing religious backgrounds to help explore the topic of suffering. "Why suffering?" That is indeed the question! Of all the arguments against religious belief, suffering in the world is perhaps the most convincing. The conference will explore the different ways religions answer the question and how to respond to suffering.
