TEACHER OF MUSIC

Part-Time or Full-Time

MPS/UPS (Outer London)

Required from 1 September 2025, a well-qualified, skilled and inspiring teacher to teach classroom Music across the 11-18 age range and to contribute to the school’s programme of concerts and extra-curricular music making, fostering an enjoyment of participation and building confidence in composition and performance.  Applications from ECT’s are also welcome.

Music is a focal part of school life at Woodford.  A diverse range of groups is sustained alongside choirs and our orchestra.  Enrichment in the subject is further enhanced by our proximity to central London.

In its recent Ofsted inspection Quality of Education and Sixth Form Provision at Woodford were judged ‘outstanding’ (November 2022).  WCHS encourages a wide range of extra-curricular activities and we provide a friendly working environment and offer established programmes of teacher induction and CPD.
