Last week, GCSE Music students in years 10 and 11 had the opportunity to compose and perform with professional musicians from the Britten Sinfonia as part of Woodford’s ongoing partnership with the Wigmore Hall education programme. Cellist Caroline Dearnley, violinist Miranda Dale and composer and workshop leader Fraser Trainer led the students through a range of activities based on music by Arvo Part and Anna Clyne, which they later enjoyed watching in concert at the Wigmore Hall.
