Year 8 have had a great start to the new half term, with 30 of them taking part in a workshop led by percussionists ‘O Duo’, learning to perform and improvise on tuned percussion instruments such as the marimba and vibraphone, as well as taking part in a samba-style performance. This was followed by a visit to the Wigmore Hall to watch the pair in concert, and an opportunity for some of Woodford’s students to take to the internationally-renowned stage themselves.
