The Olympic Flag is recreated by Woodford Girls

To mark the beginning of July, the month the games come to town, the P.E Department at Woodford set itself the logistical challenge of creating a living flag of 480 students (Years 7 – 10).

The five interlinking coloured rings were ushered into place first and then other students joined the tableau to form between them the Olympic flag.  Inclement weather dictated this was an indoor activity, but the Sports Hall gallery provided an ideal viewing point for photographers.

This very visual activity will be followed by our very own Olympics Week at the end of term.  Woodford students will, for sure, have some very vivid memories of the summer of 2012.
