Dear Parent / Carers

Covid-19 vaccination for 11 – 15 year olds at Woodford County

UPDATE: Tuesday 12 October 2021

We have this week been notified that Covid-19 vaccinations will be available to students aged 12 – 15 at Woodford on Monday 15 November 2021.  We will provide you with further information (including the necessary consent forms) when we are in a position to do so.  In the meantime I would encourage you to be talking to your child about the vaccination in order that informed decisions can be taken.r

Public Health England has updated its page of resources for young people and their families with answers to some frequently asked questions.

Further information for parents  is available via this link to the government guidance for parents.

An information leaflet for Children and Young People on Covid-19 Vaccination is available here.

We are immensely grateful for the support we have had from parents and carers throughout the pandemic.  In partnership, we have been able to keep our school community safe and thus to focus on promoting the academic progress and the overall wellbeing of the students in our care.  With your help, we will continue to do so.

Yours sincerely

Ms Jo Pomeroy
