House Drama

In November the houses compete to perform the best musical production in our House Drama festival. This is perhaps the most hotly-contested competition of them all. 

The productions are entirely adapted, acted, sung and directed by the girls, who also have to play the instrumental music live – pre-recorded backing tracks are not allowed. This year 2025 the productions are Moana (Highams), Frozen (Newton), Mama Mia (Repton) and The Greates Showman (Warner). The performances are judged by three professionals in the fields of production, acting and music and following the event there is an Oscars-style award ceremony. Good Luck!
