Equality Objectives 2016 2017

  • Headteacher to participate in U.S State Department funded initiative bringing together educators from five European Countries to develop an inclusive practice for the education of immigrant, refugee or asylum seeking children.  (Washington + Minneapolis Oct 2016, Poitiers + Paris Jan 2017)

  • To respond to the Casey Review into opportunity and integration by planning a multi-year programme to promote and evaluate inclusion at Woodford

  • To introduce a pass mark in our 11+ entry test to enable priority to be given to Looked after Children and SEND students who attain this mark or above

  • To provide gender equality awareness training to boost the confidence of identified students in Year 10 and to assess its impact
