Further Mathematics at Advanced Level is a challenging and highly regarded qualification and is in fact desirable for several university courses such as Sciences, Engineering and Computing. It provides you with the opportunity to explore new and more sophisticated mathematical concepts and demonstrates a strong commitment to your studies in Mathematics. Problem solving, data handling, analysis and good communication, which are found in the study of Mathematics, are transferable skills which are useful for any career.

Further Mathematics must be studied in conjunction with the Mathematics course and will broaden and enhance your subject knowledge. It will also support your learning in several other STEM subjects.
