WELCOME PRESENTATION

CHAIRPERSON & TREASURER'S REPORT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 31 July 2021

Below is the Chairperson and Treasurer’s report for the fiscal year ending 31 July 2021 which was a challenging year due to CoVID.  Overall, total revenue of £6,8k was raised with net income (revenue less expenses) of £5.9k, compared to £8.3k in 2020 and £13.6k in 2019.  The decrease has mainly been due to the lack of PFA events due to the CoVID pandemic.

Funds raised in 2021 were mainly from the passive income earners, i.e. Jubilee Fund Donations, Bear Sales and Centenary Merchandise. Pre-pandemic, the biggest earners for the PFA were the Boot sales, Year 7 sleepover, Jubilee Fund, Discos and Movie Nights. Ice lolly sales, concerts and other events held at the school also brought in a significant amount. Parents are encouraged to come forward to the PFA and volunteer to support the running of these events as most of the parents, who previously ran these events, moved on when their daughters left the school.
