Required from early December 2019, a skilled and enthusiastic teacher of PE, able to inspire students and committed to securing high levels of participation, enjoyment and fitness at Woodford.  It is anticipated that the maternity cover will be needed for 12 months.  Applications from NQTs and from experienced teachers are equally welcome. 

PE is a core subject through Key Stages 3 and 4 and offered as an option at GCSE.  Girls enjoy participating in local fixtures and in the rolling programme of activities offered in both our after school programme (KS3 & 4) and enrichment curriculum (Sixth Form).

The school, described by OFSTED as ‘outstanding’ (March 2009), and identified by the Sunday Times as “London State Secondary School of the Year (2019)” encourages a wide range of extra-curricular activities.  It provides a friendly working environment and offers established programmes of teacher induction and CPD.
